Organizing contacts groups in Gmail

How to edit the name of contact group:

1. Open the “contacts” link located on the top left corner of the Gmail page.
2. Choose the group you’d need to edit beside the left side of the page.
3. Click “more” option and select Rename group.
4. Type the new name and click OK.

Steps to add addresses to your contact group:

1. Open the “contacts” link located on the top left corner of the Gmail page.
2. Choose the contacts in your contacts list
3. Click on the “groups” button
4. Choose the group where you want to add the contact, or select “create new” in order to create a new group.
5. If you have number of addresses saved for contact, you can select which address should linked to the contact group by opening that contact and click on the small arrow next to the group you’d want to change.

Learn how to eliminate contacts from your contact group:

1. Open the “contacts” link located on the top left corner of the Gmail page.
2. Choose the contact from the contacts list.
3. Click on the “Groups” button.
4. Discard the checkbox of any groups you’d want to remove these contacts from.

How to delete a contact group:

1. Repeat the first and second steps in “How to remove contacts from a contact group”
2. Click “more” and select “Delete group” from drop down menu at the upper side of the page.
3. Click “OK”
